Moral Courage

Upholding the Catholic faith in pharmacy practice is no easy task in today's world. Moral courage is the ability to defend what is right and true when inevitably confronted by opposing actions or viewpoints. This defense serves proper understanding of the truth, and promotes a culture of human dignity, justice, and virtue. CaPhA encourages its members to pray for this courage, acting in this way despite fear of doing so

CaPhA's Prayer

We who are united in upholding the Catholic faith in pharmacy practice ask â€‹God the Father for strength and moral courage in our ministries. We ask Christ the Healer for guidance in fostering a culture which respects all persons. We ask the Holy Spirit for a deeper love of neighbor and health of their body and soul. Saint John Leonardi, we ask your intercession in imitating your testimony of faith and service. Saint John Leonardi, pray for us. Amen.

Patron Saint

While many saints have been assigned by the Church as appropriate to intercede for Catholic pharmacy practice, CaPhA has chosen to recognize Saint John Leonardi as their patron saint of pharmacy professionals. His outstanding witness and background in pharmacy motivate us to look to him as an excellent example in our work. Click on the link below to learn more

Prayer Warriors

CaPhA is committed to prayerfully supporting its members. Behind the scenes, CaPhA maintains a group of members who regularly pray for this commitment to be upheld. We trust Christ the Healer to impart his grace on our members as he sees fit, infusing his grace and love to enrich our efforts and the efforts of all Catholic pharmacy professionals
